License Management
Monitoring compliance with contractual arrangements and the identification of understated revenues related to licensing arrangements have often been outside management’s main focus or forgotten during the allocation of resources. In addition, License Management – the controls and procedures necessary to facilitate accurate royalty reporting – has also been often overlooked. Currently, these mechanisms are front and center as a means of increasing return on research and design investment and thus enhancing shareholder value. The issues are of growing concern to local, national and international companies, universities and research foundations as technological advances and globalization create environments where a proactive rather than reactive attitude is not only profitable, but also necessary.
Responding to this growing concern, Ocean Tomo Risk Management assists its clients in improving revenue streams by securing compliance with licensing and other business arrangements, creating procedures to manage revenue payments and attract additional licensees. Our License Management Program is a complete package of strategic license portfolio monitoring and auditing.
