Robert M. Mazur is a Director in Ocean Tomo’s Expert Testimony practice in San Francisco and has over thirty years accounting and finance experience across a variety of industries, including litigation consulting.

Mr. Mazur’s work for the last twelve years has focused on the analysis and quantification of damages in over one hundred litigation cases involving intellectual property - patent, trademark, trade secrets and copyright – and other matters, including alter ego, antitrust, breach of contract, business valuation and loss of earnings. Mr. Mazur is experienced with the evaluation, selection and preparation of lost profits, reasonable royalty, unjust enrichment, valuation and other economic damages models and has testified in both Federal and state court.

Prior to joining Ocean Tomo, Mr. Mazur was a litigation consultant at Degnan & Associates. He also held management positions as the Chief Financial Officer for a privately-held retail chain and as Vice President and Controller or Treasurer for divisions of American Express, Teledyne and USLIFE. Mr. Mazur is a Certified Public Accountant in California and holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting and Management from DePaul University. In addition, Mr. Mazur has earned the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) in the life insurance industry.
