Ocean Tomo Outside
Ocean Tomo actively supports important community programs, within the U.S. and globally.
Our efforts are presented both as an institution as well as through greater involvement by our employees in civic and charitable efforts. Together we reference these efforts under the “Ocean Tomo Outside” banner. Examples of our contributions include:
PARTNERSHIP WITH DC PUBLIC SCHOOLS THROUGH THE WASHINGTON LAWYERS COMMITTEE
We are proud supporters of Ludlow-Taylor Elementary School in Washington, DC and our employees serve as volunteer coaches for the school’s Geoplunge team. Geoplunge is a geography based educational game promoting critical thinking, teamwork, and sportsmanship and culminates in an end of season tournament with participation from hundreds of students from across the area.

NATIONAL INVENTORS HALL OF FAME
Ocean Tomo welcomed friends and clients to meet National Inventor’s Hall of Fame (NIHF), inductee Federico Faggin, inventor of the microprocessor, and to learn about a summer camp program Ocean Tomo is proud to support, Camp Invention. Each year, the NIHF Camp Invention partners with over 1,300 schools and districts in all 50 states to put 100,000 students through summer camp while introducing them to National Inventors Hall of Fame inductees like Federico.
Members of our team provide active support through hundreds of hours of community service each year and serving on boards of numerous organizations. Everyone at Ocean Tomo is part of a fund-raising match program seeking to encourage community and charitable efforts by our employees to further support individual work/life balance.
