International IP thought leaders will share insights on numerous topics including the following:
The USIPA sponsored the Nation’s first IP Sentiment survey of citizens around the United States. Awareness Committee chairs will share highlights from this never-before-seen survey and discuss how it can impact the work of the USIPA and other IP organizations during the “Gauging public perceptions of IP: Results from the first IP sentiment survey” discussion.
In the “Curriculum, Careers, Commercialization in Schools & Universities” discussion with leaders from USPTO, Lemelson-MIT, HBCU’s and University Innovation, we will hear how the USIPA is bringing organizations together to take an end-to-end view of IP education and the impact of exposing students to new ideas and opportunities relating to IP.
The “Key insights, strategies and value drivers of IP in Entertainment, Arts and Sports” discussion will focus on the intersection of trademarks and copyrights in Entertainment, Arts, and Sports, including how the USIPA is bringing together these communities to help creators, artists, and athletes more fully realize the value of their IP.
