Daniel Fang is an Analyst in Ocean Tomo’s Valuation Group in San Francisco. The practice area appraises intellectual property and various intangible assets for acquisitions and divestitures, bankruptcy and restructuring, establishment of intellectual property monetization strategies including licensing, mergers and joint venture/partnership formations, litigation support, and financial reporting and tax matters.
Prior to joining Ocean Tomo, Mr. Fang worked at Goldman Sachs as an intern on the securities trade management team. While at Goldman, he enhanced the trade booking process and logic for the firm and spearheaded a project on stock power reorganization. He also interned at many small venture capital firms, including SV Tech Ventures in Palo Alto and HeYi Capital in Beijing.
Mr. Fang holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. He is a CFA Level 1 candidate and holds a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School’s Online CoRe program.
