Molly Keelan is the Senior Director of Client Services overseeing relationship development and growth for Ocean Tomo, LLC, a consulting firm providing monetization, valuation, and expert testimony related to intellectual property assets. Ms. Keelan cultivates long-term partnerships with leading lawyers facing significant litigation while identifying the best Ocean Tomo expert/services based on the client’s needs and Ocean Tomo’s experts’ educational background and testimony expertise. She stays top-of-mind in our fast-paced professional community through involvement in IP centric organizations and committees such as AIPLA, IPO, IPLAC and USC IP Symposium’s Women in Law.
Ms. Keelan’s also works with corporate executives to develop firm-wide and practice group-specific key intellectual property strategies. Through speaking engagements and conference leadership participation, Ms. Keelan advances her thought leadership and that of the firm.
Ms. Keelan is a Founder and the immediate past Chair of the Chicago Women in IP (ChiWIP) Board. Building upon Ms. Keelan’s devotion to create a network of in-house and outside counsel from Chicago’s leading law firms and corporations, she spearheaded a successful launch in July 2015. ChiWIP’s mission is to bring together women who work in the IP field in Chicago to help them enhance their practices and skill sets, and to provide a forum for the many successful women IP professionals in the city to give back to their colleagues and to the community. She also serves on the board of three Chicago non-profit organizations, GirlForward, The Women’s Treatment Center (TWTC) and Illinois Women Against Alzheimer’s.
Ms. Keelan has worked in the legal industry since 1990. During this time, she was the Director for Zagnoli McEvoy Foley (ZMF), a jury research and presentation firm, leading the sales and marketing management of the Intellectual Property, Product Liability, and Antitrust practices. Prior to the successful acquisition of Noetic Creative Group by ZMF, Ms. Keelan was one of the founding partners of Noetic Creative Group, a Midwest graphics and presentation firm specializing in IP pretrial presentations. Ms. Keelan previously held account management positions with FTI Corporation and Xerox Corporation.
